UCLA Simulation Center, DGSOM Curricular Affairs, the Cultural North Star Office, the Office of Inclusive Excellence, Global Health, and the Department of Anesthesiology JEDI Committee are co-sponsoring an important event showcasing our talented Standardized Patient actors on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Come experience a powerful staged reading of Miss Evers' Boys by David Feldshuh, a gripping historical drama rooted in true events. This compelling performance explores medical ethics, race, and the lasting impact of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study - an essential story for future healthcare professionals.

There are two shows, both on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

The first show 1:00-5:30 PM (educational event and staged reading with medical student reception) is for medical students. Other health sciences students and healthcare professionals also welcome. Seats are limited with priority for medical students.

The second show 6:00-10:00 PM (evening reception, staged reading and talkback discussion) is for anyone interested from our communities. This show will have more seats available.
