Morgan Simpson, BS

Morgan Simpson joined UCLA as an SP Educator in September 2026. He brings with over 15 years of experience as a Standardized Patient at UCLA and at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, where he has worked with faculty and students to create patient-centered encounters to help train and assess medical student performance. He also has worked as an actor, filmmaker and podcaster. As a podcaster, he  co-hosted the Apple New and Noteworthy podcast The Other F Word: Conversations about Failure which featured interviews with individuals discussing how failure is often a catalyst for success. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and lives with his wife Heather, 3 kids, and labradoodle.
